Obituary for Wilma Jean Irish (Nebeker)
(Wilma) Jean (Nebeker) Irish, 83 of Twin Falls passed away Oct 22,2020 at St Luke’s Hospital in Twin Falls.
Jean was born March 28, 1937 to Clyde and Uldene (Hawkins) Nebeker in Eden, Idaho. Jean graduated High School in Kimberly, Idaho in 1955.
She met and married Albert (Jr) Irish June 14, 1956. To this union 3 sons were born Tom, Ronnie, and Tracy.
Along with helping Al with the farming, running Johnny’s Country Store in Shoshone and taking care of 3 boys she also worked for the Twin Falls Credit Bureau, Eldon Handy Real Estate and several banks before retiring from US Bank in Jerome, Idaho.
Jean was a member of the Red Hat Society, enjoyed dancing, and wintering in Arizona. She especially loved playing cards, lunches with friends along with family gatherings and her high school reunions.
Jean is survived by her two sons , Tom(Ann) Irish of Shoshone, Idaho, Tracy(Shelly) Irish of Montour, Idaho , 6 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
Jean is also survived by her sisters and brothers June(Keith) McClain of Ronan, Montana; Clydene Ruby of Twin Falls, Idaho; Ray(Judie) Black of Mackay, Idaho; Sandy(Lonnie) Tate of Hagerman, Idaho; and Jerry(Kay) Black of Buhl, Idaho.
Jean is preceded in death by her parents, her son Ronnie Irish and her husband Albert Irish.
Jean will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
Burial is at Sunset Memorial Park with funeral arrangements by White-Reynolds Funeral Chapel to be scheduled at a later date.
