Obituary for Verma Dobson
Verma Ward Dobson, 91 of Twin Falls, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2023, at Harmony Place Assisted Living.
Verma was born in Grand Junction, Colorado on December 27, 1931, to Nora & Thomas Ward.
The oldest of 12 children, Verma grew up in Eastern Idaho and attended Idaho Falls schools. At the age of 17 she went to Boise and went to work for “Mountain Bell” telephone and became a telephone operator. She worked there for several years until she met and married the love of her life, Bill Dobson. They married in December of 1953. They raised 4 children and were married for 68 wonderful years. These two had an epic love for one another.
Verma loved the mountains and gardening. She loved all kinds of music from Country to Classical to Rock n Roll. However, her favorite song was “My Redeemer Lives”. She was a member of the LDS church. Verma adored her family but especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Verma was a beautiful lady with a beautiful smile and wonderful attitude. She was loved by so many and will be missed by all who knew her. Rest in peace, wonderful lady.
