On July 4th, 2020 our beautiful daughter, sister and friend, Tawny Dee Hymas passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at the young age of 26.
Tawny was born May 6, 1994, in Twin Falls, ID., the first of 2 daughters born to Scott and Sandy. Tawny was born and raised in Twin Falls. She graduated from Kimberly High School in 2012. She spent a short time after high school working and living in Spokane WA. and Blackfoot, ID. Tawny returned to Twin Falls for a while and then moved to Filer where she has lived the last year and a half. Tawny worked this last school year for Filer and Hollister School Districts as a substitute teacher. She loved working with the kids. Tawny had a special place in her heart for the elderly and those with special needs. She had a talent that made it easy for her to talk to them and help them in so many different ways.
Tawny loved her family and friends. She loved spending time with them any chance she had. Growing up, our favorite times were spent boating and playing out at Murtaugh Lake. She spent time fishing with her dad and watching movies and just talking with her mom. After her little sister Brittny got married, she couldn’t wait for the day she would be an Aunt and get to spoil some nieces and nephews.
If Tawny had something she could share or a gift to give, that is when she was most happy. She will be missed in so many different ways. We know she is in a better place and with people she knows and loves.
Tawny leaves behind her dad and mom, Scott and Sandy, sister, Brittny (Kaden) Bingham, Grandpa Les Clark and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. She was preceded in death by her Grandma and Grandpa Billie Jeane and Charles Junior Hymas, Grandma Gay Clark, Uncle Royce Derricott, Uncle Steve Hymas and Cousin Ryan Paulsen.
A viewing will be held at Reynolds funeral chapel from 6-8 Friday, July 10th where all are welcome to come. A funeral service will be held for close family and friends Saturday July 11th at 11 am. At the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 229 Park Ave, Twin Falls, ID. You may watch a live stream of the service at https://youtu.be/O5D5zwlVMvE
