Sherry Jean Bohrn Thaete, 70, of Buhl, ID went home to be with her Heavenly Father on January 17, 2021. She was born to Everett and Letha Bohrn on March 24, 1950 in Twin Falls, Idaho. She lived with her parents in McGil, Nevada until age 5 then moved to the bay area in California where she lived until 1968. She then moved to Twin Falls where she met Sam King and they married and had two sons. They later divorced and then she found the love of her life Keith Thaete. They were married in July of 1978. In July of 2020, they celebrated their 42nd anniversary. They had a wonderful life together raising three son’s Sam, Steve, and Lance while farming together. Sherry loved being a farmer’s wife. She loved all the outdoors chores and helping her family where she was needed.

She was a loving and very supportive wife and mother. She enjoyed watching her sons grow up. She spent a lot of time with the boys helping them with sports, theater performance, and 4H. She enjoyed watching the boys show their pigs. Her boys were her life she loved them so much. Sherry loved the outdoors and being in the mountains camping and hiking. She also loved her alone time to gather her thoughts in the fresh mountain air with a bowl of cereal in her hand. She especially loved being with her grandchildren. They were her life, pride, and joy. She spent as much time as she could with them as she had a special bond with each one of them and held them close to her heart. Sherry’s niece, Alicia was her guardian angel who she spoke of often and loved her so much. Thank you, Alicia for loving your aunt and being there for her when she needed you. She had fond memories of hiking and biking with her big brother Dennis as they had so much fun. She also had fond memories of camping with her other brothers, Tim & Audie and sister Tammie and of course Keith was there too.
