Obituary for Ryker Ty Stimpson-Vega

Ryker Ty Stimpson-Vega, our bright and smiling boy, left this world on April 8th, 2021. While he leaves behind a hole that cannot be filled, we still see and feel his presence. From his favorite headphones and anime shows, to the marshmallows and Cool Whip container in his car (oh how he loved the freedom of his ride!), and the undeniable love he shared as a son, grandson, big brother, friend, and more.

Ryker was born on November 7th, 2004 with a number of health challenges. We learned early on that his spirit was indomitable. As the tiny, big-eared boy, he conquered surgeries and colostomy bags - and became our beloved “Pig Pen”. He hated haircuts and dirt, but had his own style and was adventurous. On family outings, he was the first to spot and try to make friends with snakes. Sometimes successful, sometimes not so much.

What else highlights his short but full life? Being naturally athletic, Ryker enjoyed bowling, swimming, parkour, snowboarding, and crazy boat rides with Mike. He loved wrestling with Braxton, motorcycle rides with grandpa, and back rubs. He was always looking out for others, especially little Embyr. He was a protector. He is survived by more family and friends than can be mentioned here - yet another sign of his impact.

While Ryker’s life was not free from sorrow and pain, we choose to celebrate his life and invite you to join us:

• Open viewing will be held at White-Reynolds Funeral Chapel from 1:30-2:30pm, Thursday, April 15th
• Funeral services will be held at Sunset Memorial Park (Twin Falls) at 3pm, Thursday, April 15th
• A celebration of life will be held at 128 E 400 N, Jerome from 6-9pm, Thursday, April 15th

Ryker, we all love you! Till we meet again!

Ryker Ty Stimpson- Vega came into this world on November 7, 2004. Instantly, we knew he would change our lives forever.

He faced challenges as a young age but his resilience did not go unnoticed. He grew strong, he was brilliant, he fell down and always got back up.

From cooking scrambled eggs at age 5 to serving up his famous cherry cobbler, he showed an incredible amount of skills. If you gave him a task, you never had to tell him twice. He worked hard, followed the rules, and looked for no words of appreciation, only ensured that everyone else was satisfied.

Every room would light up simply by the sight of his smile. His smile was contagious.

Ryker loved debating with his dad, Isaac. Ryker loved to bring anime shows and new music to the Vega- Juarez household.

When he would visit family, he made sure to tease everyone for being shorter than him.

We have no doubt that he will be ready to watch anime, play games and feed everyone cherry cobbler.
When Noemi makes cookies, she will make sure to eat some dough, Heather will tell your outrageous jokes, Shawn will continue his rock climbing adventures, Braxton will always find new games and Raiden can't wait to start watching My Hero Acadamia, because its all the things that connect us to Ryker.

Ryker is survived by an enormous amount of family, friends and community members. "Give your heart a break". Until we meet again.
