Obituary for Ryan Laine Clark

Ryan Laine Clark passed away peacefully on January 14, 2024 in Bellevue, Idaho at the age of 56.

He was born on February 1,1967 in Twin Falls, Idaho to Ronald and Kathy Clark of Hazelton, Idaho, where he grew up, attending grade school through high school, then graduating from Valley High School in 1985. Ryan excelled in multiple sports in high school and held the record in pole vaulting, earning himself an athletic scholarship to attend the College of Southern Idaho.

After college, Ryan went to Nevada, working at the mines as a journeyman concrete finisher. He came back to Idaho and started working alongside his father at Haney seed, working his way up to manager of Haney seed in Filer, Idaho. After his time there, he ventured to Bellevue, Idaho and started working for Blaine County Recreation District as a cross-country trail groomer in the winter months and trail maintenance in the summers. Later he took a job with Joe's Backhoe Services as a heavy equipment operator where he remained working to this day.

In 1989, Ryan married Angie (Parker) Clark and the following year, they were blessed with the birth of their son, Tel Clark. However, life took another turn for Ryan as he and Angie later divorced but remained friends.

Tel meant the world to Ryan and the two were inseparable, going on multiple adventures together. They both most recently attended an NFL game for some friendly competition as their favorite teams were playing against each other. Of course Ryan's team won, and he made sure Tel never forgot it.

In 2000, Ryan married Tiffany (Ward) Clark but later they divorced, remaining friends.

Family was very important to Ryan. He loved camping and fishing with his parents, siblings, and grandparents. He especially enjoyed messing with his mom, brother, and sisters in a texting war, seeing who he could rile up first. Ryan's other great love was his miniature pinschers and took them everywhere with him.

Ryan was preceded in death by his father; Ron Clark, his grandparents; Raymond and Edith Crumrine, Roy and Ilene Clark, and his former wife; Tiffany (Ward) Clark.

He is survived by his mother; Kathy Clark, his son; Tel (Kaytlin) Clark, two sisters; Rochelle (Brad) Black, and Raeghen (Jon) Peavey, one brother; Reese (Shiloh) Clark, 3 grandchildren; Ava Clark, Baker Clark and one on the way, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

We know in our hearts that Ryan, his dad, and his grandparents are together, reeling in the steelhead on the river or talking about the big ones that got away. Ryan, we'll miss your easy smile, big heart and hearing you say "what do you know?", yet comforted in knowing that we will see you again.

A viewing will be held from 6:00-8:00pm on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at White-Reynolds Funeral Chapel in Twin Falls, Idaho.
