Beckie was born on March 12, 1956 as the first child to Archie H. and Sue (Baker) Miller of Kimberly, at St. Benedicts Hospital in Jerome, Idaho. She was such a joy to her parents. She grew up and went to school in Twin Falls. She was a great big sister to Jeanie when she was only 17 months old.
She married Tom Smith and they were blessed with two children, Michelle Grant and Martin Smith. They were later divorced, She later married Michele (Mike) Matthews and they traveled coast to coast as (s)he was in the Navy. She loved her children and was blessed with 5 grandchildren.
Beckie loved her crafts. She crocheted, knitted, and did many other crafts. She was an avid reader and spent much of her time making gifts for her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, and one grandson.
She is survived by her wife/partner, her dog Minnie, her mother, Sue Miller of Kimberly, sister Marjorie (Jeanie) Shaub of Kimberly, Children Michelle Grant of Pendelton, Oregon, Son Martin Smith of Spring Creek, Nevada,
Grandson Kaleb Smith of Spring Creek, Nevada and Granddaughters, Kristine Henderson of The Dalles, Or¬
egon, and Samantha Smith of Spring Creek, Nevada, grandsons, Dakota and Rhonan of The Dalles,Oregon, and nephew Jonathan Leaur of Twin Falls.
Beckie passed away peacefully at her home in Twin Falls and will be greatly missed.
