Obituary for Phil B. Mitchell
Byron “Phil” Mitchell 69 of Kimberly, Idaho passed away Monday evening at his home after a courageous battle with cancer.
Phil was born to Norman and Marjuary Mitchell February 29, 1952. Phil was raised in the Magic Valley area where he began his lifelong passion for building. He enjoyed many steelhead and hunting trips as well as his firewood escapades. In 1992 Phil married his “best friend” and love of his life, Lana.
Phil is survived by his wife Lana, Sons; Basse Mitchell of Eden, James Mitchell of Phoenix and Daughter; Haily Mitchell(Kevin) of New Mexico. One brother Norman(Butch) Mitchell of Wyoming, and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Glenda and brothers Verl and Garth Mitchell.
Graveside services will be held Saturday April 3, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers it is asked that donations be made of your choice or to the Shriners Hospital.
