Mike McLoudrey was born July 2, 1941, in Los Angeles, CA. He spent his childhood growing up in Baldwin Park, CA. and after graduating from Baldwin Park High School, Mike spent two years exploring his career options and decided to enlist in the US Air Force. Before starting his four-year tour and training as a jet airframe and powerplant mechanic, he made time to marry Susan, his across-the-town sweetheart he had been dating as a H.S. Senior.

After Mike served 4 years in the military, he went on to work for World Airways in Oakland, CA. When World Airways transferred maintenance operations to Texas Mike signed on with American Airlines where he retired in 2004. Mike loved working on jets and cars. He received numerous vocational awards for his excellence in job performance as well as trophies for the all the custom car builds he was involved with over his entire life.

For those that knew Mike, they understood he identified with the nostalgic 50’s Hot-Rod movement. As a native of Southern California, he loved all-things-cars and Drive-Thru Dinners. Especially, In-and-Out Burgers – All burgers actually. During any car show Mike could be seen wearing a white-T in a flannel shirt with 501 jeans.
His favorite pastimes included chatting with all his car buddies in their garages, attending The Good Guys car shows and the National Car Show in Pleasanton CA.

Mike was an only child and was preceded in death by his father, William “Bill” McLoudrey and mother, Lois McLoudrey.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Susan McLoudrey, children Tom McLoudrey (Jennifer), Mark McLoudrey (Sara) and grandchildren, Shelby, Sean and Callan McLoudrey.

A celebration of life will be held at 11 AM Friday March 17th at Twin Falls Church of the Nazarene followed by a luncheon for family and friends.
