Obituary for Lucas "Bubby" Steven Dyer
Lucas Steven Dyer passed away unexpectedly and much too soon on April 1, 2023. He was born on February 21, 2020, to Tessa Bartlett and Derrick Dyer. His family is mourning the loss of his bright soul.
Lucas was a momma’s boy but loved his daddy too. His smile was brighter than the sun and his love was mightier than the largest monster truck.
Lucas loved deeply but some of his favorite things were Spiderman, bananas, monster trucks, making people laugh, telling his momma how beautiful she was, riding in dad’s tow truck, and helping his papa build houses.
He loved playing with his cousins and having sleepovers. His morning cuddles with mom were always a priority. Lucas was bright and intelligent. He attended pre-school prep and learned his letters, numbers, and all the colors of the rainbow. Although, his favorite color was lello (yellow).
Lucas is survived by his dad; Derrick Dyer, mom; Tessa Bartlett, sister; Evelynn Dyer, papa and nannie; Brian and Carla Bartlett, grandparents; Raymond Dyer, Debbie Caughman, great uncle; Earl Denney (J.R.), great grandparents; Carl Jackson, Peggy Armstong (aka GG.), Steve and Denice Bartlett, great great grandparents; Dixie Jackson and Bernice Johnson, 12 uncles, 12 aunts, 24 cousins and many family friends that were considered family.
Lucas is preceded in death by his great grandparents; Edwin Armstrong, Mary Irene Caughman Denney, Dess Johnson, Truman and Mable Bartlett, Fred Jackson, Lyle Macnicole and Marlene Madison.
Lucas’s life will be honored with a funeral service on Friday, April 7, 2023, starting at 2:00 pm at White- Reynolds Funeral Chapel in Twin Falls. Following the service, there will be a reception located at 360 Event Center, in Twin Falls.
The family of Lucas is immensely thankful for the outpouring love they have received and want to give a special “thank you” to everyone that has reached out, provided a meal or been a part of Lucas’s wonderful life.
