Obituary for Linda Susan Anderson

Linda Susan Anderson, 73 of Twin Falls, passed away February 14, 2022 at St. Luke’s Magic Valley.

Linda was born in Royal Oak, Michigan in June of 1948 to deaf parents, Leroy & Margaret May. She graduated from Hazel Park High School in 1966. She held many jobs over the years and was a skilled home health aid and interpreter for the deaf for many years. She was always ready for a new adventure and moved to several locations in Michigan, Missouri and Idaho where she would always find new things to discover and people to meet. In Idaho, Linda met Dale Anderson and they married on January 17, 2014.

Linda was a devout Jehovah’s Witness and belonged to several congregations in Michigan, Missouri and Idaho. Her current congregation was East Twin Falls Christian Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Her favorite scripture was John 4:34, “My food for me is to do the will of him that sent me and to finish his work”.

Linda is survived by: two sons, David (Natalia) Jones of Durango, Colorado and Wesley Jones of Hagerman. Three stepsons, Glen Anderson of Boise, Scott Anderson of Twin Falls, and Chuck Anderson of Squim, Washington. Grandchildren: Katurah (Ryan) Rehberg , Tailor (Kai Afong) Jones, Sydney Jones, Cooper Jones, and Gunner Jones. Great grandchild: Eli Afong and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, sister- Beverly Burrick, father of her children Mervin “Skip” Jones and her husband Dale Anderson.

Per her wishes no services will be held. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery in Manton, MI.
Arrangements are under the care of White- Reynolds Funeral Chapel in Twin Falls.
