LaRue Sorensen Horting, 90, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 9th, 2022 at 5:30 PM, MST at her daughter’s house in Pocatello, Idaho surrounded by her loving family. LaRue Horting is survived by her 5 children, 15 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. LaRue was born in Burma, Idaho, Lincoln county on January 12, 1932. LaRue was married to William (Bill) Horting on September 26, 1949. Bill Horting preceded her in death on April 16, 1977.

LaRue's funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 12:00 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints - 10th ward, 229 Ave., Twin Falls, Idaho. A viewing is scheduled for 11:00 am on February 15th, held at the church.
