Hermine Joyce Hart, 90 of Twin Falls, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2023, at St. Luke’s Magic Valley Hospital.
Hermine was born on November 15, 1932, in Falls City, Nebraska to Roy Saylor and Melanie Simon. At the age of 9, Hermine and the family moved to California. She graduated from Manuel Arts High School in Los Angeles. Here is where she met her first husband, Bill Hull. They then moved to Orange, CA where she was a housewife and Bill was a policeman in Santa Ana. They had a daughter, Jeannie Marie. They divorced in 1964 and she went to work at First American Title.
Hermine moved to Buhl, ID in 1974 with the love of her life, Jack Hart. They spent 27 wonderful years together. Hermine always had an artistic side as she had a fond passion for painting and crocheting.
Hermine had a devoted relationship with her religion as she was a member of the Filer Baptist Church for nearly 50 years. She was very active in the church and ALWAYS helped any friend in need. Hermine was the kindest, most loving soul. She helped countless friends and family through the years. The best thing anyone who knew her can do, is pay her great traits forward and reach out to help someone.
Hermine is survived by her daughter; Jeannie (Jim) Sloan of Louisville, CO., nieces; Melanie Lunsford and Cindy Sandback, both of San Diego.
Hermine is preceded in death by her husband; Jack Hart, brother; Gary Saylor, sister; Darlene Gentry, and nephew; Bradley Saylor.
There will be a memorial service honoring Hermine at West End Cemetery in Buhl, Idaho. The date and time are to be determined.
