Glenna Jean Henderson DeLapp entered the Kingdom of Heaven on February 17, 2022, at the age of 87 following contracting COVID 19. She was a devout Christian and among her many endearing qualities was her love of and faith in God. Glenna was predeceased by her parents, Floyd and Nellie Henderson, and her brothers, Bud (Barb), Nick (Linda), and Bob (Betsy) Henderson. She is survived by her sisters, Kay McBride (Mick) and Judie Bluemer (Brad), and her children, Jerry (Dot), Renee (Suzanne Pharr), and Jeff DeLapp. She was cherished by a number of special friends with whom she created a family of the heart and a church community she called home.
She was well-loved for her kindness, her loving nature, and her sense of humor. She applied her fine mind and heart to studying the Bible and living her life in a way that honored her beliefs. Glenna was respected and regarded as who to call if you wanted to get something done or were in need of prayer or good counsel. She was bold, courageous, and capable - whether river rafting, traveling to Jerusalem, or - as recently as a year ago - helping frame housing for Habitat for Humanity. She was a lover of flowers, children, and animals, and an encourager of others who unerringly sought to find a path of love through any challenge.
