Obituary for Erma Mae Carson

Erma Mae Carson passed away on May 12, 2023, following a recent stroke. She was born in Buhl, Idaho on Nov. 18, 1931, to Annie "Dorothy" Klein and George Wynn. She was very fond of her step father, Henry Klein, who was more of a father to her than her biological father, who left when she was a young child. She loved Henry as her own.

Erma attended a local Secretary School and learned stenography. She earned a 1 year certificate and used it working at an attorney's office, for the FHA, and she retired with the Border Patrol after 20 years of service. She enjoyed gardening, yard sales, and antiques. She loved to travel in her younger years going to Europe, the East Coast, and visiting her Aunt & Uncle (Bob & Gertrude) in California. Her good friends for many years were Lee Nielson & Ruth McFarland.

Erma was married to Elwood "Woody" Roholt and from this union, they had four children; Rebecca, Daniel, Randy, and Susan. They mostly resided in Twin Falls, Idaho where they raised their family. Although, they did have a short lived adventure living in Redwood City, CA. for a while. Erma and Woody later divorced. Next, she married Ike Carson and they divorced. Her last marriage was to Jack Warberg and they later divorced. She stayed single for many years and lived alone.

She left behind 2 children, Rebecca (Norlyn) Fikstad and Susan Kinney; 4 grandchildren, Rendi Roholt-Armstrong, Julie (Joe) Collette, Rob Kinney, and Brionne Trivitt, 11 great grandchildren and 16 great-great grandchildren. She also left behind an older sister, Barbara Walker, of California and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Danny & Randy Roholt; her grandsons, Michael & Mark Fikstad, and 1 great grandchild, Janessa Fikstad-Horner.

A private gathering with family will be held at a later date, following the cremation.
