Edwin Ruflin Close (Ed), 45 of Kimberly, passed away on May 17, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.
Ed was born on March 16,1978 in Twin Falls Idaho to Marian and Rollie Close.
Ed was a loving husband of nearly 25 years to his wife Jami. A proud father to his five sons, Eddie Jr., Teagen, Bryce, Braden, and Collen. He was a doting grandfather to Everrett Garrett Close.
Ed was an outdoors man at heart, and he loved nothing more than spending time in nature with his family. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He took great pride in his lawn, garden and animals. Ed had a contagious smile and a goofy sense of humor that endeared him to all who knew him.
He was always willing to lend a helping hand and had unconditional love for his family.
Ed is survived by his wife Jami; sons, Eddie Jr. (Brittani), Teagen, Bryce, Braden, and Collen; his grandson, Everett Garett Close; his mom Marian; his mother and father in-law Bonnie and Jim Thomas; and eight siblings and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Rollie Close, and his nephew.
While Ed is no longer with us, it brings us comfort to know that his legacy lives on in the memories of his family and friends. He was a great man with a heart of gold and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
