Obituary for Donnell "Bud" Stradley
Donnelle Lee (Bud) Stradley, Jr.
Bud Stradley passed away July 29, 2022, at St. Luke’s Magic Valley, after a long struggle with diabetes. Bud was born on June 16, 1963, in Twin Falls, ID and was the sixth child and first-born son to his mother, Colleen Rose. He shared a birthday with his beloved grandmother, Cleona, and older sister, Lora.
Bud grew up in Twin Falls and fought hard to overcome Dyslexia. He was extremely intelligent and very mechanically inclined, able to fix most devices. Bud loved animals. He especially enjoyed Christmas and playing Santa for his family’s Christmas Eve parties. He was a caring individual who loved his mother with all his heart. Bud took care of her in her later years, dealing with her dementia. He held a very special relationship with his younger brother, Tom.
Bud is survived by his beloved Uncle Bob Clawson, as well as sisters, Deb (Dave) Dietsch, Minnie Holloway, Lora Bates, LaDona (Roy) Molsee, and brother, Tom (Debie) Lamp. He leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who loved Uncle Bud (Santa), and many close friends.
Bud passed away three days before his older sister, Lana Leedom (Lona) and is preceded in death by his mother, grandparents, Tom and Cleona Clawson, and niece Erin Holloway.
A memorial service will be held at a later time.
