David Lee Robinson a.k.a. D.R. Handyman passed away unexpectedly on September 19th, at the age of 38 while working in Pine, Idaho.
David was born on November 24th 1983 to parents Sylvia Kay (Huddleston) Robinson and Terry Lee Robinson in Idaho Falls Idaho. From an early age David exhibited a passion for the outdoors, working with his hands and a fierce love for his family. David grew to be an avid outdoorsman, a loving father, husband, uncle, brother and friend. David loved to hunt, camp, BBQ, ride side by side and just be in nature, a love he passed down to his three children.
David was taught to hunt by his grandfather as a child, a passion he expanded on, and passed down to many people. David also loved riding side by sides and camping with his family, usually both at the same time. He was often seen railing around dirt roads spitting rocks everywhere with all of his friends racing to keep up.. He was part of a riding community in Filer and was beloved not just for his driving ability but how quickly and skillfully he could come to your rescue when things went wrong. David was Mr. Dependable, you could always rely on him to drop everything and come help you in a pinch.
David’s entrepreneurial spirit drove him to create his own business at a young age. He successfully owned and operated D.R. Handyman for many years, sharing his talents, and amazing craftsmanship with many people in the Magic Valley and surrounding community. David’s greatest love was always his three boys. He lived his life for them. Gave them everything he always wanted but never had. He made sure they wanted for nothing in life. His presence and inspirational spirit will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his three sons Tyson, Jackson, and Jayden Robinson, the love of his life Jashell Marie (King) Robinson, his brother Heath Robinson, His Step-son Drayke Cross, Step Daughter Kalyia Cross, his four nephews Andrew, Asher, Jayce, and Theodore Robinson, and his Niece Alyx Robinson
