Obituary for Barbara Lois Taylor
Barbara Lois Taylor of Fresno, California died January 24, 2023, of pancreatic cancer in Sugar City Idaho.
She was born February 4, 1941 in Twin Falls, Idaho, the daughter of Phillip Iris and Lois Potter Taylor.
She committed early in her life to a career as a teacher and taught in several California schools, finally retiring in 2010 from Madera High School where she served as a math teacher and counsellor for 34 years.
She traveled extensively during her life, visiting seven continents and many islands. In retirement she spent much time doing genealogy research and filling callings for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
As her health deteriorated and she was diagnosed with cancer, she was invited by her niece, Sara Jenkins to come live with her family in Sugar City, Idaho.
Barbara's burial will be at Sunset Memorial Cemetery on February 4, 2023 in Twin Falls, Idaho under the direction of White-Reynolds Funeral Chapel.
